Frank Body Original Face Scrub

When someone curses me with combination skin, I’m delighted with my oily nose and forehead along with dry patches on my cheeks and chin, so naturally, I’m always on the lookout for an exfoliator. Fit.

The Australian brand Frank Body’s Original Face Scrub caught my eye with its aesthetically pleasing pink and white packaging and includes rosehip oil, white clay and ground coffee beans in a fragrance-free, creamy formula.

It’s touted to be gentle but don’t let that put you off, as it’s definitely tough enough to remove dry and dull skin, as well as surface dirt and remnants of makeup.

It aims to minimize the appearance of pigmentation and uneven skin tone to create a smoother finish. I don’t particularly struggle with pigmentation or uneven skin tone, considering my complexion is sadly Casper the Ghost so I can’t comment on that but I really like it leaving a smooth feel. membrane for my skin.

Exfoliating can be a bit abrasive so it’s not something I use every day but something more when my skin needs some extra TLC and those nasty dry patches just won’t come off.

If, like me, you struggle with dry or oily skin, then this product might be well worth a try and it has definitely helped my skin look fresher and healthier.

St Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub

St Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub

Skin care is always on my priority list but since I don’t have a lot of time for a skin care routine I am always on the lookout for simple yet effective products.

I came across St Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub on a trip to Superdrug recently and while I have seen many products on the shelves, this one caught my attention due to the rating provided by the brand.

On the back of each bottle – there are many types of exfoliants – their ‘exfoliating factor’ is listed. Each is gentle, moderate or deep.

Since I usually wear makeup during the day and wanted to make sure it was clean and unclogged, I chose one that was rated as ‘deep’.

According to the product description, this scrub “deeply cleans pores, instantly revealing skin’s natural radiance, and contains oil-free salicylic acid to help prevent new blackheads and breakouts.” formed”.

The scrub is made with 100% walnut shell powder, a natural exfoliant.

A little bit goes a long way with this product, although it feels quite thick and heavy at first. When you start scrubbing your skin in small circular motions, you’ll find it spreads easily.

The fragrance of apricots is very subtle and not stale, which is a bonus for me, as I am not one to enjoy fruity scents too much.

I found this exfoliant worked from the first time I used it, leaving my skin soft and looking healthier. It’s my go-to exfoliator now.

Neutrogena Oil Balancing Daily Exfoliator

I have a relatively simple skin care routine and exfoliating is one of my main priorities.

I have been using Neutrogena Oil Balancing Daily Exfoliator for a while now, as it is of good quality and value for money. I am a big fan of Neutrogena products, as they are usually effective and have always responded well to my skin.

It keeps my skin clear and my pores unclogged, and smelling great is always a plus. While my skin isn’t overly oily or dry, it can sometimes tend to be slightly greasy, and this exfoliator helps keep that from happening.

Infused with aloe vera and lemon, it doesn’t irritate my skin the way other exfoliants do before, even when used daily. Since I incorporated it into my skincare routine a few months ago, I’ve noticed my skin is brighter and looks visibly healthier.

A little bit goes a long way with this facial scrub, and combined with the relatively low price, it has become a staple in my simple skin care routine.
